Dale Christenson is the Director of Project Management in the Ministry of Human Resources for the province of British Columbia where he is in charge of a business Project Management Office. He has completed sthe Doctor of Project Management program at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. His undergraduate and graduate studies at Simon Fraser University were in the field of Criminology. He also holds a post- Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Royal Roads University.
Dale's current areas of research interest are:
- Critical success factors of project management;
- Strategic alignment of projects and organizational direction; and
- Innovative application of project management methodologies
Dale has been responsible for a number of information technology projects within the criminal justice system. He has successfully applied project management methodologies to the area of program development and strategic plan implementation.
He is also a seasoned lecturer and teaches at Athabasca and Royal Roads University in various areas of project management. He has over 20 years of lecturing experience in a wide variety of forum and venues.
Dale holds the designation of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
